Please note that an AAA battery is required for operation but not included in the package. It is important to note that this replacement kit only fits grills with side-control knobs and will not fit those with front-control knobs. If you are using it as a replacement for the older Genesis 300 series grill from 2007, you will need an igniter kit with a metal spark box instead.
